Welcome to Hifi Hunter. By using this website, requesting a quote, or purchasing products or services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms apply to all website use, quotations, sales, and installations provided by Hifi Hunter in
Australia.
Effective April 2026.
GENERAL
Hifi Hunter supplies home cinema, audiovisual, smart home, security, networking, and installation
services.
Use of this site and all transactions are subject to these Terms, and any quote or proposal we issue.
We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updated versions take effect once
published online.
Product Information
We aim to ensure product details (descriptions, prices, availability, and imagery) are accurate.
However:
- Manufacturers may change specifications without notice.
- Colours and finishes may vary from images.
- Dimensions should be verified before cabinetry or construction.
- Prices and availability can change at any time.
- We reserve the right to correct any pricing or specification errors
Quotes & Orders
- Quotations are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.
- Prices may change after expiry due to supplier or currency changes.
- Orders are confirmed once written acceptance and any required deposit are received.
- Deposits for design or custom installation services may be nonrefundable.
Payment Terms
Unless stated otherwise:
- A deposit is required before order placement or project start.
- Final balance is payable before delivery or completion.
- Custom products require full or partial prepayment.
- Ownership remains with Hifi Hunter until full payment is received.
- Late or missed payments may delay delivery or installation.
Shipping & Delivery
Delivery times are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by suppliers, freight carriers, customs, weather, or site access.
Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery to the nominated address or site.
Please inspect goods promptly and notify us of any issues.
Installation Services
If installation is included:
- Site access must be provided as agreed.
- Electrical or building works by others must be complete before installation (unless included in our scope).
- Extra site visits due to incomplete works may incur additional fees.
- Approved variations or additional work will be quoted separately.
Returns & Refunds Policy
(Customer Summary)
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase.
If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, contact us promptly and we’ll arrange repair, replacement, or refund in line with the ACL.
If you simply change your mind, we may consider a return request on a case‑by‑case basis within 14 days of delivery. Eligibility depends on factors such as product type, order timeframe, stock status,
and condition.
In general, change‑of‑mind returns are accepted only if the goods are unused, unopened, and in resaleable condition. Items held in stock for extended periods or specially ordered may not be
eligible for return.
Unless faulty, the following items (including but not limited to those listed below) are generally not eligible for return:
- Custom or special-order products
- Madetoorder furniture
- Cut cable or custom lengths
- Custom screens, panels, or bespoke components
- Special finish or colour orders
- Opened software or licences
- Used or installed goods
- Return freight is at your cost unless the product is faulty.
- Refunds are processed via the original payment method once goods are received and inspected.
Warranties
Manufacturer warranties apply where provided.
Hifi Hunter will assist customers with warranty claims, but manufacturer terms may govern repair or replacement timeframes.
These rights are in addition to those under the ACL.
Intellectual Property
All website and project content – including text, images, designs, renders, and proposals – remain property of Hifi Hunter unless otherwise agreed.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without written consent.
Website Use
Users must not:
- Misuse or attempt to interfere with the site
- Access unauthorised areas or data
- Submit false enquiries or orders
- Use content for unlawful purposes
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hifi Hunter is not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data, or business interruption.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent allowed under Australian law.
These limitations do not affect your ACL rights.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
Any disputes will be handled through the courts of Western Australia.
